By the time you read this, I'll be at the airport or on the plane back to Adelaide with a heavy heart. Well, this is my longest holiday (2 months) where I came back, relaxed, studied a little and had lots of fun with my friends and family.
I really needed the break as University life is so hectic. I think I might lose my mind if I continued with summer school which will replace my holidays. Anyways, its good to be back home and living in Adelaide made me appreciate home a lot more than I did. Although the people here are much ruder and the drivers are terrible, home is still home. I would still go head to head with them on certain occasions (winks ^_^) while cursing that one day they would trash their car. Hmm... Maybe I'm also being cursed by people too :D
Visiting USM was really an eye opener, their uni life is much different from the one I had in Aussieland because a lot of them had already known each other before entering USM. I had fun meeting new friends and adapting to life in a local uni.
Feels good to meet my friends again, the gang from Chinese orchestra, my ex-classmates & schoolmates and my dotA gang :)
A special thanks to Mom, Dad, and Grandma for being so supportive of my studies abroad. Thank you mom for making me feel like a king again when I got back home :D Grandma's food was always memorable and every bite of it made me appreciate the feeling that I've come back home and Dad for lending me his prized Sony Alpha DSLR camera for capturing happy moments for me to bring back to Adelaide & the Laptop too ^.^
Thank you Fern for taking (a lot of) time off to spend time with me despite preparing for the upcoming stpm. I will cherish every moment which we spent togather throughout this 2 months and I will be looking forward to the upcoming November where I come back and hold you in my arms again :)
So, Au Revoir Penang! I will be back in November! (No more delays this time!)

3 weeks
It has already been 3 weeks since I came back home. The feeling of me leaving my love ones behind in 5 weeks time is getting to me... This 3 weeks has been well spent on food, friends and tending to my love ones :) The next few weeks will be composed of Chinese new year, valentines and much more ^_^
Its truly a blessing that I met you, you came to me when I was down and lonely, when I was wasting my life doing useless things. You thought me how to believe in myself again, how to stand back up on my feet and embrace the future which is upon me. Separation could not be avoided, yet you took it with a heart which was far more mature than any person of your age. Thou the hardships that we've been through, you stood by my side and forgave my misdoings, even if some of them did hurt you. For that I thank you! Thank you for the love and affection that you gave me. Thank you for the support when I was in a time of need. Thanks for the beautiful memories which I will keep close to my heart... Love you always :)
This might be a short post, but I think it means heaps to someone :)

How long will dota last?

With the up and coming release of the highly anticipated Starcraft II real time strategy game, a question looms... When will Warcraft III die? Die as in people stop playing it and switch to SCII. Warcraft III had an excellent map editor which enabled people to make custom maps using Warcraft III as its platform. A lot of custom maps of Warcraft III like Defence of the Ancients(DotA), Hero Siege, Tower defences etc... Will be affected greatly by the release of SCII :)

Protoss Vs Zerg in Starcraft II
Experts and professional players in the competitive gaming industry gives Warcraft III another 1-2 years but there might be exceptions like Starcraft:Brood war. The question looms, will icefrong(the creator of DotA) stop improving the maps? Or will he switch platforms and bring dotA into SCII? All in all, I think DotA is one if not the best custom map (or game) there is because each and every game is different from the previous one. I think the fan base in Asia will not let dotA die even after the release of SCII and DiabloIII.

How long will it last?
